What rob likes about Lucia's Berkeley:
The margherita is my go to when I'm trying a new pizzeria and theirs is superb. The crust, fresh buffalo and basil are all great but what sets them apart from all the others, even the acclaimed rose pizzeria around the corner, is the tomato sauce. I don't know what took me so long to go here, but her pizza is great! I am a great fan of bare nuckle in oakland, but if that is too far, this is an equally great option. I wish they had more pizzas and they were less money. if they want real pizza in berkeley, that's all.

They use Miyoko's mozzarella for their vegan margharita pizza SOOO good. There's always a few vegan appetizers on the menu, and they've recently added another vegan pizza that's also incredible.
