Haven't been to Zut in a while and don't know why. Lovely brunch menu with a variety of options. Service was attentive but he was great about letting us have our time to chat. I had the Salmon Nicoise which was a VERY healthy portion. Friend had avo benedict which she said was great. Will definitely go back for lunch or dinner. View all feedback.
What AlanC doesn't like about Zut Tavern:
Ignored by staff after seated outside. Had to approach Maitre D’ to request a server who then repeatedly failed to perform at minimal levels of expectation. Examples: 2 entrees served while 2 others weren’t ready and served much later, side order requested 2 or more times and finally arrived at end of the meal(it was comped), rack of lamb was literally served as near raw- blood red meat, pasta was mushy. Large caesar and excellent mushroom pizza. excellent service!
The personal here is really nice and seem to try to ask each. the vibe is a kind of neighboring place and feels very warm and welcoming. we tried the roasted grapes over ricotta. it tasted like warm grapes over ricotta. it was still funny. the scallop salad was a little fishy smell and a tad overcooked. the pork was slightly pink and perfectly cooked. the pappersdelle with bolognese was also delicious. I think eating is easy and most dishes are good, but I don't see any grill items in the $30 series.
Was not even in toot and does not know why. beautiful brunch menu with a lot of options. the service was attentive, but he was great to have us our time to chat. I had the salmon nikoise, which was a very healthy one. the friend had a benedikt that she said was great. will definitely go back to lunch or dinner.
Had a really great experience, a first-tal zut tavern! the waiter was amazing and treated us very friendly.
Love the place for lunch, but a very disappointing dinner. Lumpy, sticky noodles and pasta sauce advertised as Papardelle with sumo sauce and some strange uncooked soupy rice dish they dared to call Paella! Will not go back for dinner or recommend
