This restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. On one hand, there are positive reviews praising the tasty food offerings, such as the Parmigiano veal, Ahi Tuna carpaccio and Asian Mint Spicy Vietnamese chicken coconut curry. The attentive and friendly staff also received high marks from diners. On the other hand, there were complaints about subpar dishes, like the papaya salad and chipotle pork, and unsatisfactory drinks such as the Pear Drop and Mojito cocktails. Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????
This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case.
Pleasantly surprised that this great restaurant was open on New Year's Day! Even more surprised that they had a zucchini spaghetti dish on special - yummy! And ... panna cotta !!! Yum!
Has the Saigon noodle salad with filet mignon, onion soup, tamarind shrimp with sticky rice, and the broiled filet mignon, a mojito, a margarita, and the flan. Everything was delish! Lovely service, nice friendly ambiance. A great way to spend our anniversary. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great happy hour. Very good wine. Plump salt and pepper prawns . Warm friendly service. Amazing price for 4 glasses of wine and 3 appetizers. We love sitting at the bar . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
