Kips used to be the busiest spot for lunch on Southside, with a line long out the door, and really great flame-broiled burgers. The Straw Hat Band used to meet in the back room after every home basketball game, and sing Cal songs for an hour or so. <br/ <br/ Not as great now, but still not bad. Busy upstairs on weekends.

The house cheeseburger is made with fresh angus beef and served on a ciabatta roll with sautéed onions and secret sauce. It is big, messy, and delicious. A full bar serves up 22 beers on tap. Well drinks are $3 during Happy Hour (M-F 4-7pm), and bottomless mimosas are $10 at Saturday and Sunday brunch.

They have a great food menu which I've tried most of but my ultimate favorite is the angus hamburger and the chicken strips and the BLT with chips and salsa on the side I'll always come visit cause the bartenders make me feel at home but in a better enviroment. Thing... read more This is one of my favorite places to go for several reasons. They have a variety of beers,a dance floor, and the bartender and security staff are amazing. Things that stand out, they have sour beers which I love. The bar tender (Johnny provided me my peers with excellent service. I had such a nice experience that I had to ask him for his name. He makes the environment way more chill and has great vibes. He is also one of the fastest bartenders there. I haven't had a bad drink from him yet. Yes I recommend this place. And if you want to have a good time ask for Johnny!! :
