Although it was... read more The renovations on the restaurant are beautifully done. While it's unfortunate to see Lanesplitter close, this new place is certainly a step up. Although it was a 'soft opening' and the staff is still getting everything sorted, they were very attentive, helpful, and considerate. The Little Gems salad was delicious, the homemade gnocchi was outstanding, and their pepperoni pizza was delightfully cheesy. I will definitely be returning!

The plum sauce paired wonderfully with the tender chicken thigh. The saffron rice, with its blend of sour cherries and eggplant, was exceptional! Everything was incredibly flavorful, and the ambiance of the restaurant is stunning. The back patio feels like a serene oasis!

My experience was so enjoyable that I felt compelled to share it in a review. The staff made my visit very satisfying and comfortable, despite my early morning job. It was truly unbelievable! This place definitely has the best patio around. I came with 10 friends who had a similar experience. I will definitely be back to enjoy more delicious food, even though I work here.

Babette in all their locations knows how to make stellar coffee and snacks. Architecturally, the interior is a cavernous space with a striking red, faceted, angled ceiling, very well lit throughout, neither cozy nor oppressive. Great quality of light to draw or watercolor at one of the tables. Patronage: Lots of older white gals sporting hairdoos that evoke a desire to speak to the manager, but they seem well behaved in this particular space, gabbing about art happily. If you can handle that, you're good. All in all, a well designed place with good contemporary cafe offerings. I'll definitely be back.

You vegans, you lactose intolerants, and you anti gluten weirdos this is not for you. This is for people who love real food.
