It is not considered a ghost kitchen. However, it doesn 't have a dining room. All orders are delivery or pickup. All sales are done either via an app or on a lobby kiosk. What 's the difference? I believe the difference is restaurants don 't lease space to operate a kitchen there. All Day Kitchens provides the staff and equipment, and serves as a distribution platform for restaurants to reach more customers. I was coming back from the North Bay, and decided to stop in Berkeley and visit the All Day kitchen at 1812 University Ave. It 's a little hard to find, unless you know it 's there. I used my DashPass for pickup, and used the 25% off promo for a first time customer. I ordered Cheeseburger from Calibur Express, and General Tso 's Chicken from Kitava To Go. SERVICE, Grade (3/5) FOOD, Grade (2/5) AMBIANCE, Grade (2/5) Service I didn 't get a READY notification over my phone. I had to go and check the status board in the lobby. At this location, you have to announce who are and the staff hands you your order. Food This reminds me of Ready To_Heat packaged foods. General Tso 's Chicken: Served lukewarm. Chicken wasn 't crispy. Rice was hard, not fluffy. Broccoli was undercooked, and crunchy. Looks like microwave food. Price $14, Grade (2/5) Cheeseburger (Single), Grade (2/5) This cheeseburger had no flavor and the meat wasn 't juicy. The patty looked pre cooked and microwaved. Is that why you can make it so fast? Otherwise, the dressings and sauce were nice. Good presentation. Price $9.99. Ambiance Very impersonal atmosphere. It 's a small lobby. The staff hide behind a wall. Cameras watch who enters. They call out.... Who are you picking up for? No hello, no welcome to All Day Kitchens....no greetings. Would I come again? No thanks

It should be noted that since this is a delivery kitchen, there are no seats inside. Overall, the food was pretty good (although a bit expensive for the quality), and I would come here again.

The best part is that all your friends can order from different restaurants in one spot. We were all craving Papalote burritos but didn’t want to drive to San Francisco, so we opted for delivery. The burritos arrived piping hot and were incredibly delicious. Another great perk about All Day Kitchens is that they're open late. Definitely give it a try!
