Was Theresa Boyd at Thyme a mag?
The hotel is located close to the centre, easy to reach and offers comfortable rooms and a typical British breakfast. Only if you are planning on a business visit wifi is free but very slow, not suitable for virtual meetings. You can get an upgrade but have to pay for it. View all feedback.
What Courtney Lloyd dislikes about Thyme:
Ate breakfast and dinner here whilst staying in the Premier Inn, most nights there were items unavailable, mostly ok but couplf of nights the service was slow and the food dried out View all feedback.
I have been trying for 2 weeks to call the hotel to amend my booking at the end of the month despite the times i call, the main booking line or attempting to call the hotel direct I can't get through to anyone. Poor customer service. Feel like my booking will be wasted despite my attempts at amendment.
The room was supposed to be the largest available, but it was actually quite small. When I asked for more toilet paper after waiting 20 minutes for a staff member to come back inside from smoking, they handed me napkins instead. This experience leads me to believe that it is an issue with this specific location and its staff, rather than with the company as a whole. They need to do better and hire more competent staff.
The hotel rooms are consistently clean and spacious, maintaining a high standard. However, the dining experience was disappointing. The gammon in the evening meal was extremely overcooked and inedible. The breakfast buffet was chaotic, with guests waiting for plates and items like fried eggs and bacon missing. This issue occurred on both mornings, showing a lack of improvement. While the location is good, the kitchen staff need to significantly improve their service.
