Takeout is much better value for money but I can’t recommend it for lunch there are better options for Indian food in Basel.

When I asked politely to change the table, the Mandir team was... read more We reserved a table at Mandir restaurant and got the table next to the door and billing counter. When I asked politely to change the table, the Mandir team was very rude and said other reserved the table 2-3 days in advance. Despite all the tables being empty. When I asked to cancel my reservations there was radio silence, no greetings nothing. We live next door to the restaurant and they lost a customer on their very first interaction. Never met such rude folk in Basel.
