After we discovered when we entered the restaurant that there were no free seats despite having made a reservation, the landlady tried to find an acceptable sol... read more After we discovered when we entered the restaurant that there were no free seats despite having made a reservation, the landlady tried to find an acceptable solution and apologized with a nice aperitif. She presented and explained the manageable menu in the form of a blackboard at the table. The plates are beautifully presented and the portions are generous. The chef is given great respect for his willingness to experiment. It was a successful evening for us and we would love to have another one when we visit the heart of Kleinbasel.
