hamabama - Basel

My wife and I happened to be in Basel over lunchtime and having previously seen the Hamabama website were keen to visit it. We both ordered a smoothie (each one different) however what we received was at best a milkshake. Way too much liquid and not enough fruit and taste. We know how a smoothie should be and unfortunately Hamabama haven't a clue. Glad we choose the smallest beaker which was already Fr.5.90. Didn't try the food but the salad bar looked very unimaginative. My guess is that they either changed the smoothie chef or their friends are writing positive reviews for them.

Grosses Sortiment. Alles sehr frisch und lecker. Die Bedienung freundlich und immer mit einem Lecheln. Preise stimmen auch. Tip top.

Hamabama macht die leckersten Smoothies in ganz Basel. Immer frisch zubereitet und die Auswahl ist fantastisch. Etwas teuer, aber gut.

We were cold after walking around all day and needed to warm up. My wife was looking for soup so we decided to try a ramen place.My idea of ramen is from childhood days when we would eat a cheap meal of ramen soup at home. This is not your childhood soup. I got mine spicy. Loved it. I plan to go back again and have more of the fried chicken dumplings.
