Description
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience**
Nestled in Balloch, this restaurant presents a wide-ranging menu that includes Scottish cuisine alongside Turkish and Italian dishes. While some patrons rave about the exceptional steaks and outstanding service, others express disappointment with food quality, poor cleanliness, and uninviting surroundings. Positive experiences highlighted the accommodating staff and hearty meals, such as the steak pie and fish and chips. However, diners have also noted issues like cold, overcooked dishes and lackluster desserts. For those seeking a reliable meal, the restaurant shows potential, but it may fall short of expectations for a polished dining experience.

I don't say this lightly: it's the best steak pie I've ever had. Our group of eight visited after touring the Balloch side of Loch Lomond, and the service was outstanding. The staff attended to every request and went above and beyond. They even kept the kids happy with some complimentary garlic bread while our food was being prepared. I would return here in a heartbeat.
My husband and I ordered sirloin steaks, and when the food arrived, we were disappointed with the presentation. The steaks were cold, overcooked, and extremely dry, making them inedible. We definitely won't be returning.
Uncommon Sunday opening in Balloch. The limited Sunday menu lacks Turkish dishes and pizzas. However, the staff is friendly, and the food is decent, although it feels a bit pricey for us.
