Diners at this bustling pub experienced a blend of highs and lows. While the atmosphere buzzed with excitement, aided by live music and a lively crowd, issues surfaced. Drinks were served in disposable cups, disrupting the experience, and service varied sharply; some found staff unwelcoming, while others praised their friendliness. Drink prices drew criticism, particularly when patrons faced mix-up or exorbitant charges. Despite these setbacks, loyal visitors enjoyed delightful meals and friendly interactions, proving that even amid challenges, memorable nights with friends remain possible. A commitment to improve could elevate this venue to new heights.
The drinks were served in plastic cups, even for guests dining indoors. The music was excessively loud for such a small venue, making it impossible for friends to hear each other even when they raised their voices. The female bar staff seemed unfriendly and did not smile at all.
I’ve met some lovely people here. I had a meal at the restaurant, which was quite expensive but very nice. However, the staff seemed unaware of the promotional price for my drink, and in the end, I was charged an extra 5 pounds. When I mentioned it, they said there was nothing they could do about it.
Our annual visit was amazing once again! We had a wonderful night—the band was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel like regulars. A big shout-out to Kelly and Steven for keeping our drinks filled all night. Service: 5 stars Atmosphere: 5 stars
