I had a great experience at this restaurant - the space was lovely and the staff were friendly. I really enjoyed my lunch, and there was a generous portion size. They also have delicious baked goods that you can take away. I will definitely return in the future.

We ordered takeout so we couldn't fully appreciate the amazing views. The restaurant offers a variety of home-cooked dishes, including cakes and breads. We tried toasties, salads, cakes, and baked potatoes, but they have a wider menu selection. The dishes we ordered were made with great care and were far above the average quality for these items. The restaurant is located within the Gaelic Centre, just outside Bowmore, and could be easy to overlook despite being on the main road. The staff provided very friendly and helpful service, and they take coronavirus precautions seriously.

Last week, my wife and I went to a cafe where we enjoyed delicious vegetarian dishes. The menu had a great variety and the chef was willing to accommodate vegan requests (within reason). The staff was friendly and attentive. We even met a local and had a wonderful time catching up on old stories. Highly recommend this place.

Ate here three times in one week recently, and have eaten here in previous years. Food is always lovely. The young lady at the counter (perhaps fairly new and a bit unsure? needs a little more guidance and could learn from the more mature members of staff regarding general communication, eye contact, a smile etc., but she did consult for answers. Having been on a gluten free diet earlier in the year, it was really good to see GF food on offer, so fine for coeliacs. The actual building (Gaelic college is lovely, bright and airy with interesting displays on the walls. Its only fault is that it’s not open on a Saturday and it closes at 3.30pm during the week.

A cheerful cafe with basic but good food e.g. soup, panini and toasties. It was good value and clearly a hit with the locals. Recommend for a quick lunch in a nice spot with parking.
