The service is always great. The sushi has varied from just okay to fantastic. I probably go at least once a month, so needless to say I keep coming back for the food and the value. The carry-out deal is especially good if I don't go in for lunch. View all feedback.
What Nicole Stumpf doesn't like about Sushi Lover:
Decent sushi, them declaring I'll be charged extra for any leftovers made me nervous as I was already paying $27 just to eat there plus $2.50 for a cup of iced tea. I'd understand if it's just trying to mitigate a lot of food waste but it made menervous to try new things since there isn't a really good definition of what leftovers means. Crab Rangoon's tasted a littleoily, but alright. View all feedback.

It's good. However if your use to Island Sushi good or fine dinning sushi good. It's not the same. The rolls on the menu are basic, no extra fluff on top. No special sauces, just regular sushi. However when you add in the hibachi, crab rangoons, potstickers etc it's good! But it's more of a general restaurant don't go just for the sushi. UPDATE, went for dinner tonight andcan't say it was really good. The food tasted like it has been sitting awhile... You can tell something's are definitely premade as the speed it comes out is very quick. I originally gave them 4 stars but sadly I have to lower this to a 2 star review. The sushi is mediocre at best... Once you've experienced really good decent sushi you can easily tell the difference.. For$27.99 per person I would except a different menu for dinner service then same lunch menu. Overall not impressed but if yourlooking for some low quality crab rolls and gas station appetizers you might enjoy this.. The staff is friendly for the mostpart..
Our Saturday evening dinner at Sushi Lovers?. My wife and I met our son for dinner around 6pm, Sushi Lovers is one of his favorite places to eat. ???? We were greeted by our server, who unfortunately had extreme bad breath and spit while talking, solooking at them to order was almost unbearable? ?????????? (they although had a mask covering their chin, so that helped. ???? We got past that part and received our first plates of food. ???? The server brought over a few more things and what Ithought was a server behind her spilling her tray of drinks, was actually a customer vomiting. ???? My son in law had vomit onhis arm and shoes; the person across from us had vomit on his shoulder. ???? My wife could no longer eat her food at this pointand had just started. ???? The server was understanding enough to take back the plates that may have also been contaminated(splattered on to remake them. ???? The manager/owner then went around to every table to let us all know? it was not the foodthat made this customer puke. (Thank God It was actually that this young customer had sake for the first time and couldn?thandle it. ????????? We then asked if we could take my wife?s plates off the bill, since she had two bites and her appetite wasgone. The manager/owner said, ?well, someone else at the table can eat it.? ???? A little later our server came back over tolet us know what the manager/owner had decided to offer us 25% off. (Seems close to what we ask for ???? In reality everyone inclose proximity should have had their meal covered by management ?? All in all it was an evening to remember and we won?t beback; no thank you! ???? Follow me for more safe sake drinking warnings and customer service advice; I?ve got you. ??????
The all you can eat meal is a good pull but the sushi takes a hit on quality when they pump out the rolls like that. There was a lot of diverse options so that was nice. Service was good too. Not sure id go back as it seemed a little less fresh tasting.
