What a wonderful experience! Damien has done an incredible job transforming this restaurant into a truly unique dining destination. As a chef myself, I could see the care and skill that went into the dishes. Well done! The service was exceptional, and our server Patrick took great care of us. I hope to be back in town soon! What Anonym dislikes about The Coast:
Waiter was very nice,Unfortunately service took a very long time. Food tasted awful at worst, mediocre at best. Ordered 6 entrees, was told by waiter that it would be MORE than enough for 2 people. This couldn’t be further from the truth- serving sizes were tiny. $200 later and Left very hungry and disappointed. View all feedback.

Wonderful Meal!. Although only open for 2 weeks this restaurant is a little gem in the midst of a great resort. The service is friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and very willing to receive feedback. The mushroom truffle risotto was cooked well and with some parmesan to add flavour was a neat little dish. Meat in the surf and turf was cooked well but could have done with some more flavour on the seafood. To finish, we enjoyed a nutella calzone which was to die for! The nutella and melted marshmallow oozed and the calzone dough was soft and fluffy around the edges. Definitely a serving for 2 people for such a cheap price! <br/ <br/ Would definitely come again and I'm sure as the restaurant becomes more established it will continue to exceed expectations. Well done!

Entree Duck croquettes Mains Trout to share with sides (additional) potatoes and greens, too much for 2 adult's, probably didn't need potato as dish comes with rice Great service as well. A little expensive, food and drinks but worth it

This definitely is an impressive restaurant for grown ups that appreciate fabulous food, quality decor and excellent service. Impressed by the tasteful decor the moment we entered this stylish fine dining restaurant, but that was just the beginning of the hook that will have us coming back again and again. We were greeted by staff dressed in really nice uniforms and their incredible service all night made us forget we were in coastal location, as everything about the wonderful service would have you thinking you were in a top City restaurant. The menu is concise with the focus on top quality local produce, served on stunning hand made crockery that had me wanting to keep touching the plates as they were so beautiful. We started with the best oysters and large tiger prawns we’d ever eaten as an appetiser. Following on we were delighted with Ocean Trout delicately cooked in Banana Leaf with sticky coconut rice and a mango salad. The combination of flavours and textures sang continuously in my mouth. With a slight deliberate delay to give time to savour the meal so far, we were then treated to the 12 hour Pork Belly. With dehydrated apple slices for an added WoW. There were no words that could explain how good it was. Not that we needed it, but very happy we had it, the deconstructed lemon meringue was the cherry on the top of a wonderful experience. DEFINITELY IMPRESSED and we would absolutely travel from Melbourne again and again to dine here.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the steak, and it was cooked to perfection. For dinner, the overall ambiance was delightful, making the meal even more enjoyable. The price per person was over A$200, but it was worth every penny. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5.
