If you're visiting Anglesea for a holiday, I can envision that this cafe and store would be a wonderful find. Despite being vegetarian, they offer a diverse selection of vegan options and also carry vegan substitutes, along with a large bulk foods section. We only popped in for some coffee, and it was fantastic. We will definitely come back next time for a meal.
During our trip from Adelaide, we came across this hidden gem of a restaurant that provided a much-needed oasis. We were impressed by the ambiance, delicious food, and charming shop. The food and drinks were flavorful, the outdoor seating was spacious, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.
I was there at about 1:30pm on a Tuesday but the kitchen wasn't preparing menu items. There were a few other options at the counter including fried rice and a cous cous salad. I fit the fried rice which they heated up for me to take away, it was well presented with tomato and cucumber on the side and topped with fried shallots and black sesame seeds. I also got an iced soy latte. They use bonsoy
The staff at this restaurant are truly exceptional - they are thoughtful and went out of their way to provide a variety of gluten-free options. The gluten-free banana bread was the best I've ever tasted, served fresh from the oven. The mango coconut muffin was also outstanding. Both items were enjoyed by my 9-year-old child as well. Additionally, they offer take-away options for gluten-free pasta. Overall, a great dining experience with a focus on catering to gluten-free needs.
During our time in the area, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant and we were very pleased with our experience. The food was tasty, the staff was welcoming, and the outdoor seating area was delightful. I ordered the black bean burrito, one of my children had yogurt muesli, and my other child enjoyed the 'lunchbox' which I would definitely recommend for kids. It included a toasted cheese sandwich, a variety of cut vegetables, fresh and dried fruits, an energy ball, and orange juice. Highly recommended!
