The potato cakes are fantastic—I ordered four, two for myself and two for my daughter. She liked them so much that she ended up eating one of mine! The chips are slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

They offer a solid selection of fried foods, fish, simple burgers, onions, sauces, and drinks. You can even grab an ice cream from the freezer if you're in the mood for a treat. I was a bit confused the other day when I ordered two fried whiting and ended up with four pieces, but I learned that they add extra if the fish doesn't quite meet their standards.

The food was great the service was great the 3 girls in the shop were very friendly I was told it would be a 10 minute wait for my food and they had it ready in 8. The Fish was fresh the calamari was fresh and so was the prawns the chips were really good. We had takeaway at Fish by Moonlight two days prior and I think the have the reviews mixed up Anglesea Fish and Chips is the place to go when in Anglesea.
