I got tea from here last night and it was a perfect 10 out of 10! It was the best fish and chips I've ever had. Thank you!
This fish and chips shop is pretty good. The fresh flake is well-battered, not dry, and there's no fishy smell. The potato cakes are fantastic—I ordered four, two for myself and two for my daughter. She liked them so much that she ended up eating one of mine! The chips are slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The best fish and chips in Anglesea! I haven't tried the two other places that have opened in recent years, but this one is excellent. They offer a solid selection of fried foods, fish, simple burgers, onions, sauces, and drinks. You can even grab an ice cream from the freezer if you're in the mood for a treat. I was a bit confused the other day when I ordered two fried whiting and ended up with four pieces, but I learned that they add extra if the fish doesn't quite meet their standards.
Super fresh sea food right at the entrance of Anglesea. Be ready for a bit of a wait on weekends- worth the wait. Love the calamari n scallops. Plenty of parking right outside the store. Prices are in line with those of a tourist town.
Great seafood pack. Hot, crispy batter-covered scallops, calamari. Fish chips were tender on the inside, crispy on the outside. Had to wait 25 minutes, but they were going flat out (busy Friday night and worth the wait. Yes, it was greasy (fried food is! but crispy, not soggy.

The fish and chips were just ordinary, lacking any special flair. The flavor was average, and the fish was slightly undercooked. However, the customer service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.
The chips were pleasantly salted and very enjoyable.
Enjoyed a great meal with friendly service.

Ordered over the phone only to walk into a 20% surcharge for a public holiday and 1,5% card surcharge for overcooked smallest flake I’ve ever seen and a burger patty the size of a toddlers palm with a Woolworths bun. Add a potato cake and minimum chips and came to $50 for what seems to look like a kids meal. As a new local I won’t be eating here again, Kind regards, Dave. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
