Helen I were married on 21/7/18 at Captain Moonlite. It was one of the most wonderful days of our lives. Gemma, Matt the whole CM staff made the space so beautiful, warm welcoming. Virtually all our guests were raving about the stunning food wonderful, friendly service. Gemma’s professionalism ensured our wedding and reception arrangements came together seamlessly. We will never be able to thank you all enough
Definetly the “go to place” when family and friends are in town. Fabulous food, wonderful service and of course there’s “the view”. A must do if you haven’t already discovered this gem
The most delicious food Prawn cracker fried cheese slow cooked lamb were all soo delicious the staff were very attentive and all capped off with a stunning view can highly recommend and take it from me I don't impress easily

I had another fantastic experience at Captain Moonlite's. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and relaxed. Unfortunately, their last service was on March 1st. It is a shame that they will no longer be operating, but I hope they are able to secure a new location or win the tender to provide food services at the expanded Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club. It's a real loss for the Great Ocean Road area.
Wonderful experience, the food was incredible, staff friendly and atmosphere very pleasant and calm. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
This restaurant is in a unique location, the family-friendly ambience and the view over the local Anglesea ocean beach are precious. The food is delicious and affordable, and the service is friendly, hopefully these will be preserved after the extensive renovations to the surf club facilities currently under way. We had fish n chips, and salad – and the amazing blackberry ice-cream. The lime cream on top and the sweet/?tangy base layer are delicious! (is that marscapone underneath? . Thank you Captain Moonlight, hopefully we will see you reopen when the renovations are finished!
We absolutely adore Captain Moonlite and cannot wait to visit again soon on the Surf Coast. Where else can we find such delicious and dependable food?
We enjoyed another great experience in this iconic institution. Together with some others, we were lucky to re-edit here, before the conclusion on Sunday (01/03/2020) to host the renovation of the ASLSC. Although our visit was only two days before the last trading day, there was no compromise on the quality and quantity of menus. Well done guys on a big job best wishes for the future. We hope to enjoy your hospitality in the near future. Cheers! David
