Nestled in the heart of Georgetown, this restaurant boasts a divisive reputation among diners. While some rave about its delectable offerings—highlighting the standout fried chicken and consistently delicious meals like meatloaf and okra—others express frustration over questionable service and food temperature. Reports of extended waits and inattentive staff have led some patrons to walk out in disappointment. I had a great experience at this restaurant. The comfort food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend trying the Country Style Steak, Fried Chicken and Okra, Cheeseburger, and Meatloaf. For vegetarians, I would also highly recommend this spot. What Jonathon Schaden dislikes about Ball Que:
sitting at 2 o'clock for a late lunch, was said to sit somewhere where I like. There was a clean table all over the place and there was a reserved sign on it. I left. View all feedback.

This is a welcoming restaurant with delicious food. There is ample parking available, however, it can get quite busy. Families with kids and grandparents can often be seen dining here. The service is for dine-in only, and the meal type is dinner. The average price per person ranges from $20 to $30.
My friend and I asked the waitress for her dinner recommendation, and she insisted on the fried chicken. We trusted her advice, and she was spot on. This restaurant serves the best fried chicken I have ever tasted, even at my age! : Service: In-person dining Meal type: Dinner
Very good food! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Staff was kind and food was good but it took over an hour for two cheeseburgers to come out. When asked we were told “burgers take longer than specials” didn’t make sense to me and was pretty frustrating. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Cheeseburger
