Description

Nestled in the heart of Georgetown, this restaurant boasts a divisive reputation among diners. While some rave about its delectable offerings—highlighting the standout fried chicken and consistently delicious meals like meatloaf and okra—others express frustration over questionable service and food temperature. Reports of extended waits and inattentive staff have led some patrons to walk out in disappointment. Despite these mixed reviews, regular visitors appreciate the familiarity and quality of the food, claiming it remains a reliable choice. For those seeking comfort food in a cozy atmosphere, this eatery may still warrant a visit, albeit with tempered expectations.

Staff was kind and food was good but it took over an hour for two cheeseburgers to come out. When asked we were told “burgers take longer than specials” didn’t make sense to me and was pretty frustrating. The four of us had a great experience. Good food and lots of options. The waitress knew her ingredients, not the typical let me go to the kitchen and ask. Brunette female was very pleasant. Next time we work in the area we will definitely be coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
