Southern h... read more Wife and I came to South Carolina and were doing a little road trip. Wife was getting hungry and we love the middle of nowhere places with good food. Southern hospitality was on full display. Someone I believe was the owner said we had to have the baconcheese fries so upgraded us for free. Now... yannow how sometimes you can hear a hundred people who are really good singers oreat a hundred really good fries and think they are all really good but I cannot choose a winner... Then you hear that onesinger... Or eat that one fry and you think.. Oops wait.. no... That 's the winner right there.. well that was the fries I hadthere. I am kinda sad I personally wasn 't more hungry so I could have tried more off their menu. Before you think you are toobourgeois for an establishment like this please see the picture of the cars parked in front of this fine establishment beforeyou judge.. Thank you for making our trip to South Carolina even better!

Club sandwiches... read more Rainy, nasty day so we decided to drive down from Myrtle Beach. We have seen people post about Janettes in the past and it lived up to the hype. Club sandwiches were amazing and the ladies inside really take good care of you. I would assume they were theowners because they were so great.

The service was incredibly slow; it took almost an hour for a salad and a burger to arrive. To make matters worse, the prices were way too high for what you get... read more The service was incredibly slow; it took almost an hour for a salad and a burger to arrive. To make matters worse, the prices were way too high for what you get. I overheard the staff making unprofessional comments about another customer who had come back politely to address a mistake with her order. Oh, and it was so cold inside that everyone had to wear coats! They have a heater, but they wouldn’t turn it on. I usually don't judge a place by its appearance, but in this case, it’s evident that the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere reflects the shabby look of the establishment. Bon Appétit!
