Reviews summary
Nestled in the heart of Georgetown, this restaurant boasts a divisive reputation among diners. While some rave about its delectable offerings—highlighting the standout fried chicken and consistently delicious meals like meatloaf and okra—others express frustration over questionable service and food temperature. Reports of extended waits and inattentive staff have led some patrons to walk out in disappointment. Despite these mixed reviews, regular visitors appreciate the familiarity and quality of the food, claiming it remains a reliable choice. For those seeking comfort food in a cozy atmosphere, this eatery may still warrant a visit, albeit with tempered expectations.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The comfort food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend trying the Country Style Steak, Fried Chicken and Okra, Cheeseburger, and Meatloaf. For vegetarians, I would also highly recommend this spot. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmos... View all feedback.

sitting at 2 o'clock for a late lunch, was said to sit somewhere where I like. There was a clean table all over the place and there was a reserved sign on it. I left. View all feedback.

Staff was kind and food was good but it took over an hour for two cheeseburgers to come out. When asked we were told “burgers take longer than specials” didn’t make sense to me and was pretty frustrating. The four of us had a great experience. Good food and lots of options. The waitress knew her ingredients, not the typical let me go to the kitchen and ask. Brunette female was very pleasant. Next time we work in the area we will definitely be coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is definitely overrated. French fry’s was cold Chicken was over cooked and it was cold Shrimp was bland And it took about a hour 1/2 to get service and food I will never be back
We eat here quite often. They have a great variety to choose from on their menu with something for everyone. Their pricing is a bit high though to be honest. One hamburger steak w/fries, green beans and a roll was $16.12!! Also, if you’re wanting to call in an order you must have the patience of Job bc the phone is usually busy….for a long time! If you do choose to dine here or to order to go, you MUST try the coconut pie! It’s amazing!
Waiter bypass me twice and the lady that sat beside me sat after me. She went straight to her she did it three time
I had lunch with four friends at the Ball Cue. They offered 3 lunch specials which included 3 sides and either cornbread or a roll. I had the fried chicken, which was delicious. We left a 20% tip and still spent less than $65 total for the five of us. I highly recommend and will be going back there often.

This is an excellent dining spot. The home-cooked meals are delicious and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere and service are top-notch. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to come back for Sunday dinner and try out the breakfast menu as well.
This restaurant is an excellent choice for dining out. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very welcoming for enjoying a meal and socializing. Everything about the food here is top-notch.
I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant. I have never been let down! The owner is also a lovely lady. This restaurant has been around for 25 years and will continue to thrive. It is definitely worth the trip from Pawleys Island.
Great food and beautiful waitress. Could be the best place to eat in small ole Georgetown SC.

The staff was unfriendly, the food was not enjoyable, and I have no intention of returning. I truly felt out of place.
The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the food is excellent. I can't wait to try out their lunch menu.
This restaurant is a fantastic place to eat. Their four-part chicken dinner is excellent, especially when shared with friends at night in Georgetown. It is also a great spot for lunch.
