The restaurant is very warm and cozy. The food was nice and staff very attentive, maybe a little to attentive as they interrupted our conversation by serving a little too much.
The restaurant is on the first floor of the hotel Ochsen in Zug, across from the Zytturm clock tower, and a few steps from the gate to the old town of Zug.I was in the restaurant a couple of times for business lunches and like the excellent service and the great food. The room is old style , offers enough space for personal discussions and gives a nice setting for good food.
This is a top restaurant. Highly prOfessional seRvice. Top food and wine. The only thing to criticize is the prIce but then again for this quality I suppose it is somehow justified. It is definitely a place to go back to.
We visited the restaurant during a period when a special menu from Emlia Romagna was offered: food was excellent served in a professional and friendly manner.
A wonderful restaurant! Regarding the space: The location was apparently renovated not too long ago, and the result is quite impressive. The room radiates warmth and dignity. Modernity was taken into account without compromising the historical character of the room simply beautiful! About the food: The menu is short and clear for me an indication of quality and loyalty. The food is fabulous, and it's hard to miss the emphasis placed on the high quality of the food, as well as the excellent preparation of the dishes. At this point a compliment to the kitchen, both the salmon and the sea eagle were absolutely world class! About the operation: Extremely attentive without being intrusive. Very friendly and truly professional! Here too, a compliment to the Chef de Service! I'm not going to start raving about the wines. I would say visit this wonderful establishment and enjoy a piece of Swiss haute cuisine!
