Plain terrible. We had Calamares, which came cold. Spaghetti Bolognaise that had a taste of pure Curry, and three salads with no vinegar at all. Worst of all we realized how dirty the bottom side of the plates were, not sure they had seen any dishwashers. On top the waiters are very unfriendly: when we wanted to come in, they did let us wait for couple of minutes although the restaurant was empty. Long story short: never again. Terrible!
The sea view was a sea view nothing spectacular. The one thing I did dislike and this is typical of French restaurants generally is that smoking is allowed).the servers always seemed to be in a hurry as they were on a time limit per table otherwise the food is not to bad.would not return.
This is a pretty restaurant along sea front but you need reservation to sit on the front. Food was ok, nothing special but the ice cream deserts are excellent. Service was good. Would go back but only if we managed to get a seat on the front for the view!!
I first came to Corsica in 2005 and Vig Vog was wonderful Every time I have retuned it’s got a little worse Now it’s a nasty combination of mediocre food and humourless service In a half empty restaurant they seated two guys 15 cm from us and they immediately started smoking It has the hallmark of a place that is run with a rod of iron where the staff and customers come 2nd and 3rd respectively
Gréât service, friendly and prompt. Food was good, and cocktails were great. Calzone was fab- huge! And marinated chicken was really nice too, lovely presentation. Sundaes to die for. Other reviews put us off a bit but it was open during the 2-6pm closing that most other restaurants have, so we gave it a go and so glad that we did. Also those complaining of waiters not speaking English is really unfair- don’t come to a foreign country not knowing the language yourself and expecting them to know yours…
