The environment is spectacu... read more We were a group of six adults and a baby. I can't begin to say how great this restaurant housed outside group. It was a great lunch. The environment is spectacular, but Findlerhof still offers excellent service, value and great food. The Tartare and Gorgonzola Pasta were special standouts. Nina our waitress was particularly charming and generous with our table. Thank you.

Spectacular view – we were delighted that we had ALL the view due to the position of seats and the table. Food was fabulous! Service was friendly and accommodating. If you only have a lunch on the mountain, do it!

But now Findlerhof has turned into the mediocre restaurant with a bad food. There are many better restaurants in this area. I was disappointed.

If anything, on a clear day, it would... read more Stopped here whilst biking down the mountain. The view, the food were great and the service prompt. Well worth the visit. If anything, on a clear day, it would be worth it to just go for a beverage to sit and admire the view. It is quite isolated, but that gives its peacefulness; it is nested next to farm buildings; we had a flock of sheep grazing below us. It makes make a good 'fuel stop ' before completing the remainder of the trail into Zermatt.
