we also wanted to get to know the ceremonial art. we had a little starving and decided against the praised cheesefondue. as an appetizer we have taken the tartar for the tomatensuppe, which was really delicious, the main course my colleague took the tartar and praised it. my chicks were okey, but I didn't find the crimped butter so delicious. to dessert we took the chocolate mousse, we both did not find it delicious.... We had the raclette with crumble, which was 10/10 and the sausages rosti, the average. the personal was really hit or mis, I think it really depends on the language they speak. I've read reviews here before I go there and see how people complain about... On our first evening in Zermatt we wanted simple local food in authentic surroundings. Perfect choice! Cured sausage, lamb cutlets, cheese dishes and good local wine. The quality of the food exceeded all expectations. This is not just a typical local Stubli but a very,...very good one. If you love rustic food cooked to perfection, this is for you.
Wonderful atmosphere and even better food. Great selection of local specialties as well as some amazing pasta dishes and salad. Extensive wine list. Nice selection of items on the menu allowing for those looking for cuisine or something different. Staff was pleasant and helpful since...I do not speak German or Italian. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their dinners. Beautiful dessert menu too! We were lucky being seated without a reservation since it is in early season. I would recommend a reservation. Pictures on TA don’t capture the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant.
Lovely food at this restaurant we have been twice two years apart and consistently good lovely mains lamb chicken and really yummy desert,
Went for late dinner. Only Germany menu, no English. Wide range of food and wine variety, from Swiss to Italian, French. The rosti with lamb sausage was good but the ravioli was too salty. The lady was unfriendly and with bad attitude towards us...
