Such wonderful people, great atmosphere and grooving music by Jay Cober and the backline on our last visit. Meats are not highly smoked, which is preferred for some less-Texan pallets. Texas Cuban and Cheesy Potatoes are great and the desserts are top-notch down-home goodness. #TexasSoldEm

Great food, smiling staff and really clean! Rich portions! Maybe some of the best roasted Okra I've ever had. Back to clean, these wooden tables were not filmy or sticky. The Bbq sauce bottles on the tables were not splashy. The lady bath was very clean! For a bbq joint in an older city center I was super (and pleasant) surprised. Moist brisket was tasteful. Sauce is different than most I had. We'll be back.

We used Bold Catering for our anniversary celebration. Our party was about 45 people. Everyone took care of the food. At the end of the night was not much left. Several people said they went back for seconds. They were on time, very professional and have forgotten nothing. They put everything out perfectly. We were there for music several times during the weekends. Always a good time and good food.

Let's talk about this sandwich!! The Bodacious $18. It's 1lb of meat with a fresh stuffed jalapeño type with more meat cheese. Just WOW!!!! Delicious ? If you haven't tried, go try it. Plus the staff was so kind hospitable. True BBQ experience.

The menu selections are plentiful, and I suggest you see them before to avoid keeping the line when you visit personally. Indecision and hunger do not mix. I went for smoked meat dew (available on Thursday this month, and sold quickly! It was delicious, with cheese potatoes and green beans. If you are a dessert fan, good luck to decide what to get!?
