We had a lovely trip to Stanbrook Abbey. Jem was particularly helpful in showing us around. The food in the bar was great and we were very well looked after at the bar by Matt and Lewis. Matt and Georgia provided great food service and looked after our every need. The staff were so polite and friendly. Such a beautiful and interesting place. Thanks for a great trip! Service: 5

Sunday lunch at the Abbey was a great experience, the staff are very attentive and friendly all ways asked if there’s anything I can do for you. The food is of a very good standard, three courses, chicken, liver, pate, starter, beautiful loin of pork, with all the vegetables and Yorkshire pudding, for sweet peach crumble, beautiful. We all thought it was a very reasonable price for the meal. Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet
Had lunch yesterday in the restaraunt ..30 pound set menu was appalling ...starters unappetising ..main course beef was flavoured with picallili ! Yorkshire pudding cold and 3 cold roast little potatoes .service non existent ! Had to call for more butter and normal bread instead of pumpkin bread ! Waitress not friendly at all ! Had to speak to manager who tried then to help ..we left immediately after main course ! Never again !! Service: 1
