Dining at Greggs can yield mixed results, offering a range of customer experiences from flavorful delights to disappointing service. While some locations boast friendly staff and tasty options, others suffer from bland dishes and unhelpful attitudes. Reports of cold items and strange atmospheres detract from the appeal, especially when staff responses fall short of expectations. However, positive interactions shine through, with some customers appreciating helpful service and delicious drinks, showcasing the potential for memorable experiences. Ultimately, the quality and service appear to vary greatly, prompting potential diners to consider their options carefully.
I recently visited a lovely Greggs located in the town center. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was delicious and just as I had expected. They also offer a nice selection of drinks. Although there is limited seating inside, it was still a great experience.
There is a lot of ham served at this restaurant, which seems to cater to a carnivorous crowd. The food is bland and unimpressive, but the pictures on the menu make it look appetizing. It's best not to visit during hot weather, as some of the other customers may be wearing gym shorts that are as unpleasantly fragrant as the food. The atmosphere is strange and includes quirky servers.
I went into the Stourbridge greggs, I think there should be one working on the till and the others prepare the food. The lad who served me took the money for my order then started to mess with food, he didn’t even wash his hands after messing with money. All the staff in there takes your money then prepare your food and they do NOT even wash there hands, they should wear disposable gloves when handling food, Also there was not any food and hygiene certificates on display. THEY SERIOUSLY NEED TO LEARN HOW TO WASH THEIR HANDS
Cold food they they won’t heat up .. asked for a slice of pizza which was in a hot cabinet. When they gave it me it was obviously cold .. I asked for it to be warmed up as I was wanting to eat it before visiting as I had rushed to the hospital. I was told they are not allowed to heat it up .. I had already paid via Apple Pay to ended up taking it home.. what’s the point ..?? It’s a captive market selling sub standard food... I did however have a nice latte but that was out of a machine so didn’t involve much staff input ... thank god !!! My tip of the day ?? Eat elsewhere... anywhere... or better still starve yourself .. if you usually like Greggs you could probably do with saving on the calories anyway !!’ Why put a Greggs inside a hospital ??? Generating customers for the diabetic clinic !!!
My family and I visited Greggs to grab lunch at the Mander Centre in Wolverhampton. There were two staff members working, a black girl, a young blonde girl, and a mature brunette. We were helped by "Sharon", who had a terrible attitude. When my daughter couldn't decide which doughnut she wanted, Sharon became annoyed and made faces. My daughter is only 5 years old, and when she finally made a decision, Sharon sarcastically commented, "Thank God for that!" This kind of behavior is unacceptable for someone in a customer service role. I will not be returning to this location again due to the disgusting attitude displayed by Sharon.
