I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the dumplings were fantastic. While the dumplings were a bit pricey, the other dishes offered great value for money. For a lunch outing, I would say the price per person falls between $1 and $20. I highly recommend trying the steamed juicy pork buns, Shanghai noodles, prawn dumplings, and pan-fried dumplings. What User doesn't like about Shanghai Fried Dumpling:
When this restaurant first opened, the food was reasonably priced and freshly cooked. However, during my recent visit, we were served pre-cooked pan-fried pork buns that had just been kept warm on the stove. While the taste was decent, they weren't hot like freshly prepared food should be. Additionally, there was an unexplained food charge on my receipt. I left feeling quite disappointed. A cheap, fast meal, but it is also delicious! Great dumplings and a wide range of meals. The drunken chicken and mapo tofu are our favourites! Haven't had a bad meal here. Service is variable, but tonight it was great.
They are so busy at morning and lunch time. But i will Keep eating for three days cause these foods i ordered are real Shanghai taste.
A small joint but the food is really delicious and worth the wait. My personal picks would be the fried dumplings, bean sprouts, shanghai noodles, and if you don't mind the appearance the sweet n sour fish is really mouth watering
