Obviously, a lot of time, love and effort... read more The Rolled Oat Cafe is my favorite restaurant in Nova Scotia. The food is mainly vegetarian and absolutely delicious. Obviously, a lot of time, love and effort is put into the offerings at the Rolled Oat including quality, healthy ingredients. We are big scone fans with the scones at the Rolled Oat even better than the ones made at the legendary Sconewitch in our nation’s capital, Ottawa. The Rolled Oat is take out only which allows the customer to grab some fabulous entrees and enjoy them in the quietude of home. The fridge and freezer are well stocked with meals. The prices are very reasonable for both quality and quantity; one take away meal readily serves two people! The Rolled Oat Cafe also exhibits an eclectic array of local art, plants, amazing “finds”, all of which make unique gifts for others and oneself. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
