Good wine list, awesome desserts, lobster bisque the signature soup. Salads, hand-cut steaks and chops, fresh fish and shellfish and nightly blackboard specials. Open seasonally May 1st through October 31, serving dinner. Open at 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday. Monthly wine and food pairings always a good time and well attended. Well-seasoned well trained staff. Catering on and off premise available. Loyal local following for 33 years and still doing what makes us happy.

The appetizers are excellent, but the main c... read more The restaurant is under new ownership and is located on the outskirts of Wolfeboro, offering a charming atmosphere. The appetizers are excellent, but the main courses have some inconsistencies. I ordered the scallops, which were a bit disappointing as there were only three on the plate, accompanied by minimal vegetables and potatoes. The chicken dish, on the other hand, included a leg and thigh along with a large salad. While I typically enjoy salt, I found the main dishes to be overly salty. The service was friendly, although it was a bit slow. I hope that the saltiness of the main dishes will be adjusted, and that the service times will improve in the future.
