The service was excellent, with the server providing detailed and informative descriptions of the menu options. The food was outstanding and offered great value for the price. The atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable, though it was a bit noisy—though to be fair, the restaurant was quite busy at the time.
The restaurant recently reopened under new ownership after extensive preparations. While we didn't sample the appetizers, the menu offered some inventive options. We ordered two cocktails, both of which were excellent and refreshing. I chose the rotisserie pig brain, while my wife opted for the rotisserie chicken. Both dishes were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we shared a French chocolate pudding, which was delightful. We're very happy to have such a wonderful restaurant close to us and look forward to our next visit.
The restaurant is under new ownership and is located on the outskirts of Wolfeboro, offering a charming atmosphere. The appetizers are excellent, but the main courses have some inconsistencies. I ordered the scallops, which were a bit disappointing as there were only three on the plate, accompanied by minimal vegetables and potatoes. The chicken dish, on the other hand, included a leg and thigh along with a large salad. While I typically enjoy salt, I found the main dishes to be overly salty. The service was friendly, although it was a bit slow. I hope that the saltiness of the main dishes will be adjusted, and that the service times will improve in the future.
