What Jake L doesn't like about Barton Rouge:
The restaurant was empty, but the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was extremely spicy, causing half of our group to leave before the main courses. The lamb tikka was so hot that it left my tongue burning. We should have stuck to our usual choice of Heswall Tandoori. View all feedback.
Outstanding service, small details like replacing napkins often, refilling drinks, making recommendations etc. Lovely food, will be back.

Whole experience was undermined by staff telling us they had to get back to Manchester. Must of mentioned it 10 times and when they start cleaning and sweeping up on the next table then the message is quickly reminded. Don’t think we will be back for a while. Food was average compared to past visits. There’s another Indian restaurant in heswall that’s getting rave reviews. They can have our £100 a visit from now on.
Best Indian I've ever been to my absolute favourite by a mile quality of food is second to none gone here for years garlic chilli chicken is my recommendation
