Chef Gustavo Maurelli brings his 30 years of experience in International Cuisine to Windsor, with a background working in various regions around the world. The latest dining venue at the DoubleTree hotel, RiverRoom, offers a variety of comfort food and traditional Mediterranean dishes in a casual atmosphere. The food was excellent, and our server, Catrina, was absolutely delightful, which is why we decided to come back for dinner the following night. She recognized us right away, seated us by the window, and provided outstanding service once again. On the second night, my husband had tenderloin while I ordered striploin, and both steaks, along with the vegetables and sauce, were fantastic. We also shared a crème brûlée for dessert, and it was one of the best we've ever had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience on both nights, and a special thanks to Catrina!
