Family-run restaurants are truly the best! With its friendly service and delicious homemade dishes, Millrock stands out as a perfect example. It’s a cherished community spot featuring a chef and pastry chef from the Culinary Institute of America. I can't wait for my next visit!
I’ve been visiting this place since 2006, and it’s still just as enchanting as ever. The food is delicious and of the highest quality. The decor is stunning, and the service is exceptional! It’s a must-visit if you’re in the Catskills.
Two things stood out about this place: the warm, attentive staff and the food. They seated us 10 mins before they technically close, and although it was still a full house, that kinda thing goes a long way. Quality ingredients and fair prices.
Not only was the food delicious, service amazing and had all around great vibes, the staff and management were some of the nicest and most genuine people my party and I have encountered. Kid-friendliness: I don’t believe there was a kids menu but our party consisted of four kids under the age of 6. Everyone was happy! Kiddos loved the lemon sorbet too!
I've updated my original review to reflect my more recent experience. I had dinner here during the winter and was pleasantly surprised by the changes made by the current owners, John Gallino and his wife. The cocktails were fantastic, and I enjoyed the veal marsala followed by a delicious cheesecake for dessert. I was a bit taken aback by the price, but considering the original owners have stepped down, I would definitely recommend this place.
