The meal was lovely but lacking in atmosphere on a Thursday lunchtime. It was embarrasing to be presented with a bill for the meal and drinks when the meal had already been settled with a dining experience from OpenTable.
Kyoto is a special place to eat the owner is friendly and obviously very passionate about his food and happy to discuss where he sources it and the recent new finds he has made and added to the menu. This results in food with a superior quality to anything else in Winchester, although it is a little expensive. It is beautifully plated and a pleasure to eat. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys their food.
Excellent restaurant. Having travel many times to japan, kyoto kitchen serves authentic japanese cuisine with some dishes offering a modern twist. I have been told the menu is due to change at the end of september and I look forward to their new offerings! I Would recommend their salmon sashimi and spider roll. Green tea ice cream is always a treat as well.
Absolutely loved our lunch here. We went for the vegan set menu food was so carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. Staff really friendly and knowledgeable about all the dishes, giving you a little run down of what you were eating. The restaurant is a little tucked away off the Main Street but very popular, so definitely need to book.
