Chococo - Winchester

I didn't crack you! this place sells the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted! I've never gone to costa or dieucks and ordered a 2nd, but I've been in choccoco so that speaks for myself. I highly recommend for hot choc lovers

I have my daughter and my mother in law to the chocococo for a place tee and cake. the cakes were excellent and we also tried the vegan and vegetarian packings wonderfully! highly recommended

Went here with high expectations as had been to a hot chocolate shop like this before. Ordered a white hot chocolate as the board said “for a really really sweet tooth”. I had also had one previously before and it was very SWEET. So I...Order it and tasted it, and it only tasted like warm milk. I couldn’t taste any chocolate. So I was a bit confused. I Go back into the shop thinking maybe they forgot to add the chocolate as they were very very busy when I went in. And the manger was very very rude to me in-front of customers and gave me a very condescending and vicious response to my innocent question. This being that because it was white chocolate it wouldn’t taste sweet when mixed with milk and that this was silly of me to assume otherwise. I’m just wondering as to why your menu is promoting it as a sweet hot chocolate when it tasted like milk? Might want to reconsider your marketing.

I had the house hot chocolate, which given it's the house hot chocolate I thought would be a safe bet. I found it to be quite bitter, though. I wasn't expecting a super sweet hot chocolate but I wasn't expecting it to be bitter! I...also asked for it with cream and briefly thought it might've been off. The taste was quite confusing.

My friend and I decided to visit for a luxury hot chocolate, whilst visiting Winchester. My friend ordered a deluxe hot chocolate, which came in a coffee bowl. I asked if I could have a coffee bowl too, but was told no, as mine wasn't...a deluxe. I couldn't have a deluxe, as I'm vegan, so can't eat cream, marshmallows or malt balls. Despite saying I didn't want orange in my hot chocolate, the whole thing was overpoweringly orangey, and had (what I assume was) orange oil droplets on top. It was also topped with the same chocolate flakes as my friends drink, which (from looking at their website) I don't believe were vegan. The cream on my friend's drink looked separated and had an odd taste to it. We both left our drinks unfinished, as they were not pleasant. I also needed to wipe the table and tray with an antibacterial wipe, as it had mess from pervious customers. At over for drinks, and the lack of finesse and atmosphere, we won't be returning.
