We were passing by looking for a place to sit down and eat and decided to give this place a try. I had the medium cod, chips and drink lunchtime special. Not big, but good on quality and not out of our way. View all feedback.

The worst chips I have ever had in years of life. Almost the entire portion was refried, burnt, and should have been binned not served to a paying customer. As if that the quality of the food wasn't bad enough, the quantity for the...price of a large portion was disgraceful. How a fish and chip shop can get chips so horribly wrong is quite frankly unbelievable. View all feedback.
This is the best fish and chips I have ever had. The batter is crispy, the cod is beautiful, and the chips are incredible - crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There is no grease whatsoever. Absolutely amazing.
My daughter was seated, prepared to savor her fish and chips, when she discovered a small piece of hair under the batter of the fish.
