Their dining room service is exceptional. The hostess greets guests like they're eating at her own kitchen table. Service is attentive and dignified. Food came out promptly. The grilled pork chops were absolutely delicious. On the other hand, I've had their catering service numerous times and it seems more mediocre and definitely falls in the range of generic Southern cooking. At work, after being more or less the default caterer for company meals, employees eventually ask for something different from Something Different.
Four of us went out for lunch, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional, and both the waitress and the owner were extremely friendly.
The strawberry shortcake, beef liver, beets, and sweet potatoes were fantastic! The waitress was wonderfully attentive too!
We selected Something Different to cater our event, and their service was exceptional. My sister and I reside in different states, so we managed all the coordination over the phone. They took care of everything for us, and it was genuinely fantastic. The food was delicious, and we couldn’t get enough of the meatballs!
