The owner personally stopped by to talk with us and asked about our experiences both in the community and at the restaurant. She appeared to be truly interested in our feedback, rather than simply focused on making money.
The pork chops at this restaurant are consistently fresh... I'm not entirely sure what that really means, but that's what the hostess keeps saying to everyone.
We selected Something Different to cater our event, and their service was exceptional. My sister and I reside in different states, so we managed all the coordination over the phone. They took care of everything for us, and it was genuinely fantastic. The food was delicious, and we couldn’t get enough of the meatballs! The food was outstanding, and the service was remarkable too. However, I thought that the vegetable plate I ordered was a bit overpriced.

The food has never disappointed here, I've loved foods that I've never like before because of their preparation.The staff are very professional and polite, and never give any trouble.The atmosphere is a tad harsh, lots of bright white.

The catering here was top notch. The ladies were quick, kind, and were so helpful with quick cleanup. All of our wedding guests absolutely LOVED the food and would not stop raving about it all night- especially the veggie lasagna. The food was a hit with our guests and the staff was amazing with their communication. We would most definitely hire their catering services again!
It’s something different
The service was excellent, and the dining room is exquisite. Everything on the menu is delicious, but be sure to leave some space for dessert. The strawberry cake is a must-try!

Their dining room service is exceptional. The hostess greets guests like they're eating at her own kitchen table. Service is attentive and dignified. Food came out promptly. The grilled pork chops were absolutely delicious. On the other hand, I've had their catering service numerous times and it seems more mediocre and definitely falls in the range of generic Southern cooking. At work, after being more or less the default caterer for company meals, employees eventually ask for something different from Something Different.
Something Different Cafe Catering offers an elegant and beautifully bright atmosphere with friendly staff. The servers are exceptionally attentive and polite. Their menu features dishes that are not only beautifully presented but also taste incredible. It's truly a delightful place for lunch.
What a delightful discovery this charming lunch spot turned out to be! The white tablecloths add an elegant touch without the high-end prices. The child's grilled cheese with bacon looked absolutely delicious. My salad featured tender, fresh chicken. The server was incredibly friendly and attentive.

Today, my family and I enjoyed our first lunch at Something Different Cafe Catering, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was charming, and the service was exceptional. I only wish we had found this spot earlier! Thankfully, we’ve discovered it now. I just wish Greenville had a place like this, but Wilson is close enough. We’ll definitely return and share how great this place is with others!
