I am a foodie and like to experience the culture of food wherever I go My spouse not so much so I have to find balance while traveling We happened upon Gmoa Keller after a long day of sight seeing and ended up on their steps. We were warmly greeted and had no reservations. We were accommodated. We had great service and great food. I had booked beef with all the sides potatoes spinach' which was amazing. Then of course strudel. It was great a nice ending to our vacation. I'd highly recommend eating here it's authentic and I'd recommend reservations. We got really lucky. Upon leaving the place was packed. So plan ahead a bit and when in Vienna. Eat here !!!

Potato salad was too juicy, and there was too much dressing in it. Service was good. Waiters were all polite, friendly and fast. Inside ambiance is good, but I seated outside. Outside seats do not have a different theme.

We came for lunch on the pati... read more Wonderful authentic Vienna restaurant. I believe it is one of the oldest in Vienna. Very nice patio and inside is like in a movie! We came for lunch on the patio (with no reservations, no problem) and came back for dinner (and made a reservation). The schnitzel was delicious and huge, the wild boar was good/authentic and the steak tartare was excellent. You just have to remember that unlike North America, they are not trying to rush you. Dining is laid back and you can stay and enjoy the ambiance.
