An independent Wichita favorite, this long-running coffee shop serves handcrafted Pacific Northwest–style coffee, housemade bierocks, pies and pastries at budget-friendly prices. The owner’s warm hospitality and cozy, hole-in-the-wall ambiance keep regulars and visitors returning for customized lattes, dairy-free and gluten-free options, and retail beans. Occasional slow service and concerns about cleanliness and mask practices temper otherwise glowing praise, but overall it remains a charming spot for breakfast, quick lunches and quality coffee.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and had a fantastic experience. I ordered an iced latte and two original bierocks. The latte was delicious, made with excellent espresso beans. The bierocks were truly the best I've ever tasted, not just in Wichita, but even compared to those at the State Fair. I highly recommend both the coffee and the food. I can't wait to return and try more items from the menu. The owner was incredibly friendly and fun to chat with. I really appreciate his pride in making everything from scratch.
The service at this restaurant is friendly, and the bierocks are amazing! I highly recommend trying the brat-rocks with a touch of hot mustard for a quick lunch. The snickerdoodle coffee is also outstanding!
I've been a loyal customer at Kevin's for 20 years, and I can genuinely say that you won't find better coffee, bierocks, or desserts anywhere in Wichita or even nationwide. Kevin makes everything from scratch, and his apple pie is my absolute favorite. If you're spending time at Starbucks, you're really missing out on a fantastic coffee shop that truly deserves accolades for its Pacific Northwest coffee. I give it a full 5 stars—absolutely five stars!
I really enjoy this place! I started visiting occasionally and the bierocks are fantastic. It's a cozy spot, and the owner is very friendly.
My daughter suggested this café to me, and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a 4-shot latte with almond milk, and the espresso was incredibly smooth with no bitterness at all. A big shoutout to the owner for his excellent choice of roasteries and for his welcoming demeanor and great conversational skills. He really knows how to connect with people. I’ll be sure to stop by every time I’m in town. Thank you!
