Wine Dive - Wichita
Wine Dive
Description
The restaurant in question seems to have mixed reviews. Some found the food to be underwhelming, with small portions and lack of flavor. Others had a great experience, enjoying the ambiance and service. Some noted issues with the music selection and forgetful service, while others praised the attentive waitstaff and delicious food. Overall, it appears that the restaurant may have some inconsistencies in terms of food quality and customer experience, but some diners still highly recommend it for a good dining experience.

Went here Sunday as they have a patio in front with shade , food was great , our server was attentive, had the hamburger big and delicious had bacon and mushrooms added , the fries were crispy without being greasy . Was very relaxing! I’ve had the Ahi tuna its fantastic also. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Came here yesterday. I was truly underwhelmed. Porkchops were over cooked, burger was overcooked- I’m. Not sure if there was a new chef but this isn’t the experience I am used to at wine dive. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
We went for Mother's Day Brunch. The wait staff was the best part of the visit. Food was average. The piece of prime rib was terrible, rubbery, impossible to cut with a table knive , no steak knives. My daughter and I had to leave our pieces because they would have impossible to chew up! My French onion soup was below par, the onion had not been cooked prior to adding it to the soup and the soup lacked any favor and the bowl was full of undercooked onions with a tiny piece of bread and cheese on top. The cakes, especially the white one, must have been from off site because they were good. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $30–50
Bottom line up front: Average food (expensive for the quality), clean establishment, mediocre beer selection but I guess it isn’t called “Beer Dive”. Opened on a Sunday which is a plus. Food was average. Artichoke description was enticing, butfell short. I suspect that they are warmed from a frozen state because one of the breaded artichokes was definitely cold in themiddle. Pasta was slightly over cooked but decent. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, I think there is better food forthe money spent in Wichita. Total for two individuals with 2 drinks each was $91 before tip.
This was our second visit to The Wine Dive, and both times were exceptional. This time, we took the in-laws from out of town, and they were equally impressed. My father-in-law 's comment as we were leaving: You know, this is probably a place I would havedriven past and not even noticed. I 'm really glad you brought us here! The young women at the hostess stand were cheerful andfriendly, and we were seated quickly. We had made reservations, just to be safe. Our waiter, Isaac, was friendly, helpful, andhad a great sense of humor. My husband was pleasantly surprised at the size of his two pork chops, and the shrimp in my pastawere plump and delicious. The food was fantastic and filling, and we all left very satisfied. We will be back!
