Didn't go to the cafe as being closed this month but spent the night on the car park with my self contained vehicle. Thanks for letting us stay there for free. OK its alongside the road but after 9 not many cars and there is actually a nice view over the mountains View all feedback.
What Janice Scott doesn't like about Honey Cafe Honey Center:
The coffee was fine, I asked did they have soup, yes says the worker, tomato, or mushroom and bacon (no mention of chowder) I then ordered a toasted sandwich cos the menu was pretty pedestrian, once I had ordered and paid I saw another menu (on paper) with seafood chowder! I then changed my mind ordered that which she told me wasn't soup it was chowder hello! Not a huge difference if we're nit picking. The chowder wa... View all feedback.
We had breakfast there this morning on our way to Westport. An amazing breakfast. Very friendly people. I forgot to take a photo so you will just have to try it yourself.
Perfect place to stop at, the service was great such a friendly team and the food was amazing highly recommend!!
Great place for a quick stop and dine in! The young girl working behind the counter was just such a bubbly person with a great attitude, she deserves to be promoted or given a pay rise at least!!
Fantastic little spot. Its fast become our favourite!!!!!Its a must stop. The food is awesome and the people are friendly and helpful. A great place to enjoy.
Came in today after ringing ahead to find out if this cafe had food that could cater for coeliacs. Was told yes and was listed off some examples. Great I thought until I turned up. Ding ding ding ... Immediate bells start ringing when in the cake cabinet I see there gluten free cakes lined up on the same tray with normal cakes surrounded by crumbs. Eeekkkk! Cross contamination! To be safe I asked the lovely lady behind the counter about what food as available for me and my daughter and how it was cooked. Was told that all their foods was cooked on the same grill and in fryer and she wouldn't recommend eating anything if it was that serious (thanks for your honesty). What a big disappointment!!! I rang ahead as we travelled a distance and was told you could cater to our needs. Perhaps you need to review what staff know on food allergies and consider schooling up on how to store and serve food for those who have allergies. For some of us it's as serious as eating peanuts. It's not a fad. Sadly I won't be back.
