We ordered tapas with small plates at this restaurant. The food and cocktails were incredible. The staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return.
I made a reservation a long time ago for me and my sister to go out for a Christmas night out. The booking included food, but when we arrived, we were told there was no food available. We decided to have cocktails instead, but when we went to the bathroom, it was disgusting. There were only 5 people in the restaurant and the atmosphere was terrible, so we decided to leave. I highly recommend not wasting your time going here. We will not be returning.
I went to this restaurant last weekend with a reservation. We waited a long time before being seated at our table. We ordered two cocktails, but they were slow to arrive. There was only one young server working the floor and she only stayed on one side. It took an hour and a half to get our second drink. We had visited a few weeks prior and had excellent service from a different waitress. Something seems to be amiss with the service here.
Booking made for food and drinks for five people for Hogmanay on 3 December. Received email on 30 December checking that we would still be attending which was confirmed. Arrived to be told that the kitchen was closed no explanation given. There was no one in the place says it all. The Balencrieff next door were thankfully able to accommodate us. Give Urban Cocktail Kitchen a miss I won't be back.
Just back from this so called restaurant, my friend sent back her burger and my spaghetti carbonara was disgusting will never set foot in this place again,still had to pay for our drinks,
