Today was my second time ever having Aurora Pizzeria and pasta kitchen. I've only had their sandwiches here and they're pretty solid. Today I ordered the eggplant Parmesan sandwich. I ordered online so there was no description on what was on It nor what bread it was on. I was expecting a sub but its on what looks like to be sourdough bread. Last night I picked up a cheesesteak Stromboli that was overcooked and had zero taste. Hardly any tomato inside and the bottom fell apart so we ended up eating big clumps of meat with a burnt crust. SO DISAPPOINTING! I really do love this place but the food is inconsistent and it all depends on who is making your Stromboli or Pizza. Update: We've recently returned to the restaurant twice for dinner, and it was excellent. The Chicken Sophia with homemade pasta was outstanding. While they don't serve alcohol, bringing your own bottle of wine works perfectly.
Last night, I ordered a cheesesteak stromboli, and it was overcooked and flavorless. There was barely any tomato inside, and the bottom fell apart, leaving us with large chunks of meat and a burnt crust. It was incredibly disappointing! I genuinely love this place, but the food quality varies greatly depending on who is preparing your stromboli or pizza. Please invest in better training for your staff because these dishes can be excellent when they're made correctly!
I used to love this place, but my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered wraps that weren't cut and resembled more of a small burrito. The chicken Parmesan was rubbery and dry, indicating poor quality chicken. After spending $50, I left feeling very dissatisfied. I hope Aurora can improve!
Very disappointing staff and customer service. Food sucks. Prices are outrageous. Overall, yuck.
Always great food, 100% would recommend, especially their pasta. The wraps are also excellent and a go to favorite.
