What a nice establishment! The employees that were working today 4 24 11am, opened the store with only 2 people and a couple called out and will be late. When we moved here, we were told that it was a must to take place in delaware. We were told that this restaurant was a must-visit in Delaware when we moved here. We decided to give it a try and I ordered the cheese steak sandwich, which was huge and delicious. However, over time, the restaurant seemed to lose its appeal. The menu remained the same and lacked variety. I can't believe I used to enjoy dining there. If you're a first-timer, I recommend trying it out for yourself. The restaurant is known for their turkey sandwich, but since I don't like turkey, I can't comment on it. Recently, we ordered delivery and ended up spending over $70 on 4 subs. Disappointing.
I typically enjoy dining at Capriotti's on Kirkwood Hwy. This time, I ordered the fresh turkey subs, but was disappointed to find there was not enough turkey, no cheese, and they were very dry. I think I'll take a break from this place for a while.
We opted to order our food for takeout, which was available when we placed our order. When we called to notify the restaurant that we had arrived to pick up our food, the unfriendly woman who answered my wife's call told us that we needed to come inside. The customer service from the employees was lacking in politeness. The one positive aspect was that the food was delicious, but we will choose to visit other Capriottis locations in the future.
I ordered a little ham made turkey sub, I asked for the role to be dekerned, extra Mayo, everything else. My role was unraveled on the thin side, which brought the role to tear. I couldn't taste the onion or see it. Very little salad, my lower part was so dry!! I'm not gonna buy this Capriotti's again!!
