Description

One restaurant, visited for breakfast and lunch, received mixed reviews. With an atmosphere that left diners feeling cold, the food was described as underwhelming and overpriced. In contrast, a Mediterranean spot offered a refreshing change with authentic Lebanese dishes that cater to all ages. Commended for its great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and attentive staff, it serves as a good option for family gatherings or solo meals. Additionally, a food truck in the area has been a hit, especially for its diverse menu and high-quality dishes. Overall, despite some negative experiences, there are definite gems to be found.

I highly recommend trying the authentic Lebanese dishes at this restaurant, including excellent hummus and falafel. The menu is very diverse, offering options like barbecue, pizza, and traditional Lebanese cuisine.

Sweet place to go for a wide range of food. Had breakfast and lunch there and were very satisfied with the menu and the owner is sooo friendly. The patio is a great addition to the place. Today there were 3 tables full of Ridgetown people, figure that one out :D We will be back.. One of the things that sets Take A Bite Social Eatery apart is the variety of different foods that they have to offer. In addition to the Lebanese foods, they serve traditional hot dogs, hamburgers, and hand cut fries, as well as deep fried delicacies, fish and chips, homemade pizzas, authentic smoked BBQ and locally made desserts. Amal takes care of Lebanese specialties such as Shawarma, hummus, babaghanouj, pita chips, wrapped grape leaves, mezza and homemade falafel, all made from coveted family recipes, while Jeff operates the smokers. Craft beers from local breweries are a great touch...

This restaurant is a wonderful place to dine. The food was delicious, with my wife enjoying the Shawarma and myself opting for a hamburger, both of which were fantastic. The owners were also very friendly.

This restaurant is a great spot for lunch. It has a cozy, family-run atmosphere and is very clean and welcoming. The homemade Lebanese dishes, such as Schawarma, Gyro, and Falafel, are the standout items on the menu. Overall, a highly recommended place to try for a tasty meal.

Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Not busy, just one other parton there. Restaurant was definitely very cold. So cold our meal actually got stone cold before we had a chance to finish eating. Had the big breakfast: 3 eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns and 4 slices of toast. Eggs were a little underdone and the hashbrowns leave a lot to be desired. Basically sliced and boiled potatoes that are re heated on the grill, but definitely were not browned. Quite expensive. Bill for 2 big breakfasts and coffee was almost $27.00. Most other establishments we frequent charge $17 $20 for the same. Service was good but not really impressed with server's black finger nails (black polish).I doubt we'll be back.
