Tucked away off the beaten path but, for this particular lunch this particular day, it was well worth it.
This restaurant has a unique charm, but the food is great and the service is welcoming. The prices are quite reasonable, and the place is clean and well-maintained. The building has an unusual layout; you have to pass through an empty space to reach the entrance. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and shortly after we arrived, several familiar faces came in, indicating that it's a popular spot for locals. I had the fish and chips, which were delicious, while my daughter enjoyed a roast dinner that she found delightful. Overall, it's a hidden gem worth trying.
Charming and unique, this place has a nostalgic feel that takes you back in time. The small-town hospitality is exceptional. The food was enjoyable, and the building has a vintage vibe.
