I have visited many s... read more As a tow truck driver, I often eat out. When I am in Rodney, this is the only restaurant where I am willing to spend my hard-earned money. I have visited many small town restaurants and this one is definitely the best value for money. The all-you-can-eat fish was surprisingly delicious, even though I don't usually like fish. I have tried many items on their menu, but breakfast is my favorite. It is satisfying and hearty. Sometimes I don't have time to eat at home or in the restaurant, so the takeout option is perfect for me. I simply call ahead and they let me know when my order will be ready. For takeout, I enjoy their lasagna, my kids love the spaghetti supreme, and my partner enjoys the quesadilla. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

They also offer a nice selection of breakfast items after 11 am. The burgers and wraps are also delicious, and they have daily specials.

The cleanliness of our restaurant is a top priority, with daily cleaning routines and strict hygiene practices, including hand washing before and after handling food. Contrary to claims, smoking in the back area is not permitted. Our boss treats us with respect and kindness, and I have never experienced any mistreatment. We take pride in our homemade dishes made with fresh ingredients. Personally, I believe the food at D&L'S is delicious, and I enjoy working here.

It is by far the best in the area, especially for the fish dinners and breakfasts (Sundays for sure, but any day of the week they are open)! Yes, unfortunately it had changed hands a few times, and when it was under other management/ownership, we did try it, but were not satisfied at all nor happy with the appearance of the restaurant during those visits. After one try, we never returned and dined elsewhere. The restaurant operated under D&L is very welcoming and warm. The décor is also very welcoming and meets the expectations of a family dining establishment. It is always very clean, even at its busiest times. The food is prepared and presented with finesse and created and served to cater to your personal preferences. The portions also exceed expectations, so be prepared to bring some home!The wait staff is always friendly, and the owners themselves are very friendly and welcoming when serving your table. We highly recommend this restaurant. The burgers are awesome, the fish is fabulous and the breakfast is by far the best and our most favourite meal on their menu. A portion of the yummiest home made jam is also a highlight of any breakfast dish served. The deserts are tastilicious and home made also. Everyone we have invited to dine there with us, has always left very happy they came and visit their now on their own and bring their friends too.We are thankful that D&L has reverted to the original owners and hope that they continue to be open for years to come under their personal ownership, management and cooking expertise.

I personally witnessed one of the owners smoking in the back and did not wash his hands before making the food. The woman is extremely rude and I heard her screaming and degrading the poor waitress, who's name was Theresa i think, and she was very nice. I ordered the spaghetti supreme and it tasted like it was out of a can, and maybe a couple of days old. To top it all off it was outrageously expensive, especially since the quality was just not there. We wont be back.
